Our silver Malaysian inspired charms feature an array of Malaysian cultural and national symbols. The ' Keris ' (a traditional dagger like weapon ) charm is made entirely by hand by Kelantan silversmiths.
The keris is essentially a double edged dagger, what makes it unique is the details found at the base of the blade, details that exist in no other swords. A long time ago walking around without the keris for Malay men was akin to walking around naked.
The keris was useful for fighting in confined spaces such as inside of a building or in a jungle where longer weapons would be cumbersome.
The charm comes with a chain that can be worn as a delicate necklace. The charm can be purchased on its on without a chain at RM 250. The price reflected here is with the chain. Do specify in your order if you would like to purchase the charm without the chain.
